winter holidays>
winter holidays...how ironic since it feels perfectly like summer turning autumn kinda weather here... Now that prom is over and seeing that my parents refuse to go anywhere overseas this year, I'm stuck daily with the problem of how to spend my time away.. Of course reading helps but eventually, your eyes start screaming at your mind to take a break... so how about doing something productive like part-time, unfortunately, my boss decides on when i get to go to work...i'm lucky that i get to work at all. the days are sad to say boring and pigging out everyday with no such form of exercise is really getting to my body..
So since I've got too much time on my hands, i'm actively searching for courses and JC options i can take once my O's results are given. Once there was a time when my mum was fiercely objecting to my choice of poly, now she supports me saying that i should go learn autocat system or whatever it is called... X.X I'm dying from boredom....

PROM!!!!>
prom day is now over but the memories are still fresh in my mind! a few lessons i learnt is 1) if you apply make up, there are times when even your best friends, and families, can't recognize you!! 2) if you want to be prom queen, you must do a sexy dance and a sexy moan! (which my dear friend did both and got crowned prom queen! XD) 3) make sure you know how to dance/sing/tell a joke! Though it was unexpected for me to become a prom queen candidate seeing as how my friends always say i'm a studious imaged girl, it was totally expected for me to drop out and i don't feel bad about it. i always get stage fright!!
the preparations were hectic and rushed with a few "argh~" moments, but overall effect was astounding. the event itself wasn't that much a disappointment with the good MC and DJ but I wished there was a dance floor. the food could do better though the desserts were absolutely scrumptious!! Mm mm~~ I took lots of photos with my dear friends and I nearly cried from being nostalgic over the school graduation videos. luckily i didn't coz i remembered that i was wearing mascara! lol.
graduation night is a night of celebration for the time you spent together in your new sec school with your new friends, a night of truce for enemies and rivals alike and a night of glamour and nostalgia.. I will forever remember this night when everybody looked their best and treated each other with respect and joy. May the night's memories never end in me...

finally!>
finally O levels are over!.. or more like, it was over last week. but prom preparations left me busy and i finally made time to blog! I did my best for Os so it's not like i can do anything about it at this point so i'm just gonna have fun and learn some new skills during the 1 month holidays. bought my prom dress with mum and it's too gorgeous for words!! bought the shoes to go along with it but holy cow, it's expensive! still left the clutch, hair and nails though... dad's gonna faint when he sees the receipt..
my old friends and i went to our primary school's fun day and it was so nostalgic. though most of the teachers have moved out, the few who stayed back remembered me. though they didn't seem to recognize me at first.. did i really change that much? i thought i still looked the same?? she bought me a drink and we said our farewells...i'm gonna miss them.. let's wish that we'll always remember them! XD

This manga is by Michiyo Kikuta and published by delrey. It's a story about this junior high female schooler named Nina Yamada (12 years old). She is your typical heroine who dreams of falling in love with a cute and sweet boy who's strong enough to support her when the chips are down. But what happens when her dreams come true...twice? One day, two boys fall from the sky, literally, and they're actually wizards who've come to the Human World to take the Magic Exam! The overall artworks are quite nice. The storyline is smooth flowing so it isn't that hard to enjoy it. There's plenty of fun in this wacky storyline and it sure won't bore you to death. Includes special extras for certain volumes, you won't regret buying this.
I currently have volumes 1 to 5 and is selling it as a set for $35. Overall condition is good with no stains but a bit of yellowing. There are no dog ears too so it's a good buy. i'm dying..>
urgh... 20 more days till 'O' Levels and I already feel burned out...hope that at least i won't regret my hard work. dad's gone overseas again and mum's fallen sick...bro has finished his exams so he's playing games all day long.. at least the weather is fine. ok, i'm talking nonsense. good point now is that there's a lot of good books coming out now. i'll introduce some to you now.
they are: (fictions) The House of Night Novel series by P.C. Cast + Kristin Cast, the Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare, Wings by Aprilynne Pike. the characters in these books are lively and believeable. They each possess their own predicaments and their own way of solving matters. unlike the character Ever in the book Evermore by alyson noel who makes so many mistakes that you find yourself unknowingly cursing her for her stupidness, these characters have a strong determination which makes them lovable. the funny teenage language in the House of Night Novel series is a definite must read. Wings introduces a new insight on our childhood version of fairies and it has a fresh storyline with a dose of some unexpected trolls.

preparation = failure?!>
I noticed it before and again today but it seems that the more I prepare for something, the harder it gets for me to solve it!! What is going on?!?! I only had a 30 minute revision of chemistry and a half-day's worth of POA revision... but i found that chem was easier than POA!! OMG~ don't tell me that I shouldn't prepare for anything or smthg right?... then how on earth am i gonna make out of O Levels alive~~ (TT^TT)ll I doubt i'm the genius typw who can score well despite playing all day, even i'll fail if i do that...but i can't prepare myself either... hmm... what should i do.. Maybe i'll ask my mum... have a funny picture for you guys. My title "how to make someone grossed out". I found this kinda funny. I'll upload more next time~

guess what I saw this morning...>
MONKEYS... Yes, I saw monkeys coming out of the forest this morning. I took some pics for fun.
I name this, "Looking at my Rear". I mean, this monkey was really staring at his butt. I wonder why??? lol.
This one is much better. Can you se the baby monkey clinging to the mother monkey at her chest? It's so cute~!! XD we aren't supposed to feed them and stuf though. I heard it was illegal. Something about feeding them will make them dependant on us for food and not being able to live in the wild and such.
I remember this incident where when I was young, the whole family went to a monkey park in Malaysia and a monkey snatched the bag of peanuts my brother happened to be holding at the time. There was chaos after that and my mum detests monkeys now. Lucky I still got the video from I taped that. It was so funny!
